SUPAG MediaScan continues to support its legacy newspaper scanning systems, such as the MediaScan Flash Tandem and the MediaScan Flash Single Newspaper Scanning Systems. These third-generation systems are in operation in Europe and North America and represent MediaScan's continued evolutionary development of newspaper scanning systems - now embodied in the new, full-color MediaScan 650C and 250C Newspaper Scanning Systems.
The MediaScan Legacy Systems use the same newspaper savvy, easy to use, productivity driven MediaScan Scanning Software - allowing them to integrate into operations with newer MediaScan Systems.

MediaScan Flash Legacy Systems:
- Flash Tandem with dual scanners and three PCs provides grey-scale or bilevel duplex scanning of newspapers up to 900 newspaper pages per hour.
- Flash Single, with a single scanner and dual PCs, provides simplex scanning up to 300 newspaper pages per hour.
